Timeless Fairytales AI

Why this
niche?
In this niche, I came across a channel that started just 5 months ago. They’ve quickly gained a large audience that loves expressing their passion for famous fairy tales in the comments. The competition channel now pulls in a solid number of views per month, even though they don’t upload that frequently. So, if you’re passionate about classic fairy tales, both the Disney versions and those that weren’t made by Disney, like Alice in Wonderland, then this niche is definitely for you!

Triggering memories
I'm often a fan of a shocking intro that immediately grabs the viewer's attention, but what they’re doing here is also really effective because they take the viewer straight into the world of The Wizard of Oz, which can evoke a lot of recognition and memories. Most people clicking on this probably have some connection to The Wizard of Oz, or they wouldn’t click, so it's smart to show that right away. But, of course, you could also go straight into something shocking related to The Wicked Truth, since that's ultimately what the viewers are looking for answers to. So to me, both intros are fine as long as you give them straight away something about The Wizard of Oz or a triggering hook of the 'real truth'.

Nice voice-over
Although this is AI, I really like this voice-over, and I think it’s a great fit for this niche. It has an old, storytelling vibe, definitely something similar to what you’d hear from someone reading fairy tales. Definitely recommend this kind of style, so you can take it as an example.

Nice AI footage
I really like the quality of this AI footage. They use different types of images, real moving AI visuals and animated photos that bring everything to life. Most importantly, they use a lot of color, and the people look very realistic. I'll explain exactly how you can achieve this in the 'Money and Blueprint' section.

Triggering script
'The story of Oz isn't just a fairy tale, it's deeply rooted in history, dark history that will change everything you thought you knew about the land...'
The way they tell the story and use a triggering hook at the end is definitely something I'd recommend. Without hooks like that, you won’t be able to spark curiosity or get your audience asking questions, which is key to keeping them engaged. Great script!
Don'ts
2:08
No triggering transitions
The script is good, but the transitions are really bad. If your transitions look like this, you're not creating an engaging story, and you’re not giving the viewer any reason to keep watching. It can make the content feel drawn out, and it really gives them time to think: 'Do I want to continue watching this, or am I done?' Especially since the screen literally fades to black and a curtain is drawn to introduce the next chapter, you’re giving the viewer actually time to consider whether they want to keep watching or not. I’ll also tell you that they do this throughout the entire video, so the chances of viewers clicking away only increase. Give them a reason to watch the next section with more engaging, triggering transitions. For example:
• But if you think this was it, think again...
• But hold on, we're just getting started...
• But soon you’re about to hear something that changes everything...

❌ Too many focus points
Although the design of this thumbnail looks nice, there are too many unnecessary focus points. That’s unfortunate because there’s a lot more potential here. Take the text in the top-left corner, 'The Wonderful Wizard of Oz,' for example, because it doesn’t add any value since it's already in the title. Also, there’s text at the top and bottom, which is just too much. I would recommend using just one piece of text to keep the thumbnail clean and easy to read.

Revenue analysis
If your videos are around 20-30 min the rpm will be around $5-8. If you choose to go for 8-12 min videos the rpm will probably bearound $3-5. This competition channel doens't upload much, only 4/5 videos per month so keep in mind that if you'll upload more you also earn more.

How to find topics?
In this niche, it's important to reveal the 'real truth' behind famous fairy tales. You want to frame it in a way that makes it seem like the true story is completely different from what’s commonly shown, and that will raise questions in the viewer’s mind. At the same time, you should include lots of recognizable elements from the fairy tale in the script because the people who click on the video are most likely fans of the fairy tale you’re discussing. The great thing about this niche is that you can create it using AI, which means you won’t run into problems by showing real footage. As I always say with any niche, it’s important to look at the competition. Which topics are working well and which ones aren’t? To make it as easy as possible for you, I’ve listed them below:
- The Wicked Truth of The Wizard of Oz
- The Dark Truth of Disney’s Classic Movies
- The Mad Truth of Alice in Wonderland & Why It Matters
Besides, what I’ve noticed from the comments, they really love deep analysis about the writers or characters from fairy tales. By that, I mean exploring why a character does something that can be compared to what's happening today. For example, this part of the video at timestamp 3:08 is a perfect example of that: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Mdx8e-8SBuM (timestamp 3:08). They mention this:
''The White Rabbit acts as a guide and a symbol of curiosity. He’s the Call to Adventure, the first step into the unknown, the rabbit hole itself. It’s a threshold, a passage from the ordinary to the extraordinary. With his waistcoat, pocket watch, and constant cries of 'Oh dear, oh dear, I shall be late, the White Rabbit is more than just a curious character; he represents time slipping through our fingers, a reminder of the pressures and anxieties we place on ourselves today.''
Do you see what they’re doing here? They take a part from the fairy tale and reflect it onto something we experience in our daily lives. And that’s exactly what this audience values, the deep analysis and how it connects the story to real-life situations. So to make it as clear as possible for you, they love deep analysis to discuss in topics. Just take a look at these comments:

AI footage: To create AI videos like the competition, I'd recommend to watch this video https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=xjveLQ-FHXg on YouTube where they explain how to work with invideo.
ChatGPT: You can definitely use ChatGPT in this niche for summaries of fairy tales, especially if you don't have much background knowledge. That being said, I do think it would be a plus if you have some basic knowledge when starting out, but you can still accomplish a lot with AI. The key is to create analyses that tell the true story behind these fairy tales, but you can also combine that with online articles from Google. So, if you know how to use ChatGPT, it’s definitely a great option for writing your scripts. Of course, you can also choose to work with a scriptwriter who has a deep understanding of these well-known fairy tales.
Topic:
To create my own topic in this niche, I went to Google and started searching for articles about the dark truth behind famous fairy tales. I came across an article about Snow White and immediately had a thumbnail idea and a plan for how to approach the topic. On top of that, I noticed that our competitor’s channel just posted this as their most recent video and already got 31K views on it with a thumbnail that, in my opinion, could definitely be much better. This confirms to me that there are still great opportunities in this niche, and since it’s such a well-known story, it can definitely attract a large audience.

How to create your thumbnail?
First, I went to openart.ai and created an image with Snow White in a dark theme. This is what the AI generated:

Photoshop
Then I continued in Photoshop to expend the image to get the correct size. Because openart already used a lot of brightening, I didn't add any changes aside from adding text and an arrow.

Eventually I added the text: HIDDEN FACTS to create lots of FOMO and because it matches well with the thumbnail because lots of people are involved in it so that can raise also a lot of questions. In the end, I also added an arrow to the thumbnail so that the thumbnail include some color, and it creates another focus point to Snow White. If you followed all the steps, your thumbnail will look like this:
