Let them know right away what they clicked for
This is a fine intro that immediately addresses what the viewer clicked for. What I also like is that they mention how number 1 is so overpriced, it’s hard to believe they even try to sell it. What does that do to the viewer? It raises questions, which leads to longer watch time and therefore a better AVD. However, I immediately noticed something in this intro that I would absolutely avoid, and I’ll share that with you at ‘don’ts’.

Raise some questions
I like what they’re doing here with the script because it raises questions for the viewer. Why is it one of their biggest miscalculations ever? What is that based on? → The viewer keeps watching. These are smart techniques you can use in your own script to create a strong video. You’ll notice this probably in almost every niche, and it’s also one of the most important factors in making your video go viral — it all starts with your script.

Real footage
What does this audience love? Motorcycles. So showing real footage of bikes is a smart move, becauseit’s exactly what they’re passionate about.

Nice transition
'And if you thought the Livewire was a flop, wait until you see the next spot..'
I like the transition they added here because it's the same how I'd do it in my own script. By adding hooks like this, your video becomes much more interesting to watch, and it gives the viewer a reason to continue watching. Here are some other examples you can use for in this niche:
• If you think that’s crazy, wait until you hear this...
• Up next, you won’t believe what we discovered about [TOPIC]...
• But this next part is even crazier than what you just saw...

Wrong background music
This is definitely the wrong background music for this niche and the volume is so loud that the voiceover becomes hard to understand. It’s so distracting that you could definitely lose viewers because of it, and it still got more than 740K views so just imagine what you could achieve if you make this even better. I would remove this from the video and replace it with something more subtle. As example this type of background music: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_wrg_EljmpA

This thumbnail achieved more than 700k+ views.
Is this the best thumbnail you've seen in your life? Probably not. And that's exactly how I look at this thumbnail; it's not the worst but it can also be much better. The text is on the long side and the logo in the right corner doens't add much value because in the title: Harley-Davidson Dealerships are Trying to DUMP These 7 Models ASAP! it's already clear that it's about Harley Davidson. What I would do in this case is create a situation in the background that either causes a shocking effect or raises questions. I would also make the text shorter so you can enlarge it, which makes it stand out way more than it does now.

How to find topics?
To find topics in this niche, it’s helpful if you know a bit about Harley-Davidson or motorcycles, but don’t worry if you don’t, I’ll walk you through exactly how to approach this niche and find the best topics. If you take a look at the competition’s channel, you’ll notice a clear pattern: Harley-Davidson vs Japanese Motorcycles. As you’ve probably seen in this analysis, the audience is definitely made up of motorcycle enthusiasts, including Harley-Davidson fans, but they have very strong opinions about the brand. They’re knowledgeable, real experts, but the biggest trigger for them is Harley-Davidson’s ridiculously high prices. So, if there’s one thing to focus on in this niche, it’s topics about that, and we can see this reflected in the three most popular videos on the competitor’s channel.
- Harley-Davidson Dealerships are Trying to DUMP These 7 Models ASAP!
- 7 Trike Harley-Davidson Motorcycles Dealers Can't Sell, So They Are Giving Them Away!!!
- Harley-Davidson CEO Responds To Massive Downfall After Going Woke
What's also very interesting, as you can see above, is that they also focus on news topics, such as the 'woke' culture. So, in this niche, you can actually go in two directions: either focus on the ridiculously expensive Harley-Davidson bikes, or combine Harley-Davidson with the 'woke' culture or politics, making it more news-related.
Additionally, I continued my research and came across another pattern that’s also attracting a lot of views: Harley-Davidson vs Donald Trump. I found this while watching a Spanish video, then dug deeper and stumbled upon this channel: https://www.youtube.com/@Deanjohnsoncars/videos. However, it’s important to note that this comes with its risks because the video you’ll see below, with over 1.8M+ views, definitely contains some heavy clickbait. So the choice is yours, but I wanted to show you the kind of success these topics can bring in this niche. But keep in mind: there are risks if you want to do this.

YouTube: On YouTube I found a couple of other channels you can take a look at:

Google:

ChatGPT: If you know how to work with ChatGPT, you can definitely get some topic inspiration or even create your own scripts with it.
Topics:
To create my own topic within this niche, I started analyzing the competition and noticed that a video about the topic of "woke" was performing really well. It was only uploaded three weeks ago and instantly became one of their most popular videos. That shows there's a strong emotional trigger around this topic and that a lot of people clicked on it. You could also frame it more as news-related content, which might give your channel a boost at the beginning.

How to create your thumbnail?
I started by looking for an image where the woke theme is clearly visible. I just searched for 'woke Harley Davidson' and came across this photo.

Photoshop
Then I continued working in Photoshop and added this photo of Jochen Zeitz, where he looks a bit angry. The great thing about his facial expression is that it almost looks like he's speaking, which will work well with the text I’ll talk about below.

Eventually I added the text HARLEY IN CRISIS to raise some fomo/questions. If you followed all the step syour thumbnail will look like this:

This audience loves to give their opinion about Harley. What I see a lot in the comments is that this audience are true fans of motorcycles, but they feel that a lot has changed within the brand Harley-Davidson and that the bikes are way overpriced. So that means they really respond well to topics like: 'Motorcycles Harley Dealers Can’t Sell,' because it’s something they strongly agree with.
AUDIENCE ANALYSIS
What does the audience not like?
Woke
If you take a look at the comment below, you'll probably understand that this audience just doesn't like the woke culture. There are a lot of comments about this.
