Start with real footage
If you look at the title of this video, the people who clicked on it will want to see a real clip of Jimmy Kimmel talking about Trump as soon as possible. Especially in this niche, it’s essential to use real footage throughout the entire script.

This is very important
What we see here is important to understand because these few seconds can help reduce the risk of issues. Of course, I can’t guarantee that, but as you probably know, YouTube is very strict about clickbait. If you look at the title of this video and the first few seconds of the clip, you’ll notice that it’s not actually clickbait because t’s actually true that Jimmy Kimmel exposes something about his marriage and the video immediately backs that up. Yes, they’ve made it more dramatic by adding a trigger word to the title, but this is exactly how you should approach it in this niche. Give viewers what they clicked for. This increases watch time and reduces the chances of issues with your channel.

Nice voice-over
Whether it is AI or not, he has a good tone and a fine voice to listen to, so definitely a good fit for this niche.
00:36
Talking the same language as your audience
A subtle joke that this audience will likely enjoy is exactly what we hear here. By pointing out these moments, you connect with the viewers and say what they’re thinking at the right time, making them more likely to keep watching.

✅ Triggering thumbnail, but...
A highly triggering thumbnail that pushes the limits to grab the viewer’s attention, that’s exactly what I see here. This is the typical thumbnail structure used in the Trump niche applied by many other channels, and it continues to still be successful. The image in the center creates an extra focus point which I personally would stick to a maximum of three elements. That said, I can see why this approach works to drive clicks. In short, I'd definitely recommend sticking with this thumbnail style because it’s simply a format that the audience responds to extremely well. But be careful with too much clickbait, as the text being placed here was not actually mentioned in the video. And don’t get me wrong, you can certainly do this, but just be aware that it is still clickbait, which could cause some issues. What this channel mainly does is push the limits more in the thumbnail with plenty of trigger words. It’s crucial to grab attention, but the content must still align with the first few seconds of the video. I’ll dive deeper into this in the Money and Blueprint sections.

Important
The reason we’re revisiting this niche is simply because we can’t ignore a channel that earned around $180,000 in just one month. This clearly shows there is still plenty of room to achieve success in this niche. Of course, there are multiple channels in this space, but the key to success lies in how the competitive channel approaches it, and that’s why I want to share this channel with you. I’ll explain exactly how they do it below.
As you might know, many channels in the Trump niche get taken down for various reasons, with clickbait being one of the most common. The most important thing the competitor channel does well is matching the first few seconds of their videos with what the title promises. Take this video as an example:
Trump ERUPTS as Jimmy Kimmel EXPOSES Embarrassing Truth About His Marriage!
If you look at this title and the first few seconds of the video, you’ll see that Jimmy Kimmel actually says something about Trump’s marriage, so this can't be considered clickbait. They do this consistently in every video. That’s why it’s crucial for you to follow the same approach and this way, you can avoid potential issues. But there'e also another important thing to keep in mind that you dont need to go to ver met de thumbnail. I have to say that this channel sometimes takes things pretty far with their thumbnails, even adding text to images that wasn’t actually said. It’s best to try and use something triggering while ensuring that Trump actually said it.
How to find topics?
To find topics in this niche, it's important to stay up-to-date with news surrounding Donald Trump. This niche is news-based, and if you're not quick enough with a topic related to breaking news, other channels might beat you to it, and you’ll miss out on views. What’s key to understand is that you either need to be REALLY fast with new topics, or you need to make news out of the news. To help you understand this better, let me give you an example:
We’re all probably familiar with the situation where Trump was shot at in the ear. If you have a team that can quickly put together a video, you could choose to cover that as breaking news, though news outlets will always beat you to it. But another approach is to create a video about someone spotted in the crowd, with suggestions that they might be connected to the incident. Personally, I would choose option 2 because you’re making news out of news. You can trigger people again because they likely already knew about Trump being shot at, but they haven’t heard about this new angle yet.
Google/YouTube:
On Google News, you can find many news articles to keep you up to date. But remember that you need to work with lots of clips, so it's important to keep the main focus on that. So that being said, I'd definitely keep an eye on Jimmy Kimmel's channel https://www.youtube.com/@JimmyKimmelLive because we know that this man and his jokes is loved by our audience.
News Websites: If you search on Google, you’ll probably come across many news channels. These are also good to keep an eye on because they can often provide a lot of title inspiration.

TikTok/Instagram: On TikTok and Instagram you can also find a lot of clips of Donald Trump. Just filter on Sort by - Like count - Video category - All - Date posted - This week or This month.
X: Especially when something happens around Trump, people on X (formerly Twitter) will mainly share their opinions. Even when Trump was shot in the ear, X was immediately filled with conspiracy theories, and stories started taking on a life of their own. This is super interesting because it allows you to turn news into more news.
Topic:
To create my own topic in this niche, I kept in mind that the most popular videos from the competitor's channel are related to Trump’s marriage. We also know that Jimmy Kimmel is a beloved comedian among this audience, so it's important to start with a clip where he's talking about that. That’s why I linked the competitor’s video below as an example, so you can clearly see how the title matches the first few seconds of the video.

How to create your thumbnail?
I searched for a photo of Trump looking angry and a photo of Kimmel laughing. I wanted it to look like they were in a debate, so I chose side-angle shots to create that effect.

Photoshop
Then, I used the camera raw filter and added Whiten, Texture, Sharpening to make them stand out even more.

Eventually I added the text YOU CAN'T BEAT THE LION because it can raise some questions and because it fits well with the title and his facial expression. I also want to point out that this might not be the most shocking text you’ll see in this niche, because many go for things like "FUCK YOU KIMMEL" or "GAME OVER IDIOT," etc. But as I mentioned earlier, that’s real clickbait. If you watch the video mentioned above, you’ll see that they do something very smart, making it seem like Trump’s response was his repost on Twitter with the AI photo of a lion. And that was exactly the moment I wanted to take advantage of, and it still fits with what’s shown in the video. So, I’d advise doing the same to reduce the risk of problems. Try to grab triggering parts from the clips that could have a double meaning. You can also use ChatGPT for inspiration. So if you followed all the steps, your thumbnail will look like this:

AUDIENCE ANALYSIS

Comedians/Presenters
This target audience enjoys jokes made about Trump. Just like the previous niche I shared, this audience is anti-Trump and thrives on negative things said about him, with humor playing a major role especially the one from Jimmy Kimmel.
Scandals
Scandals, gossip, and anything that brings Donald Trump down are what this audience enjoys. The more extreme the topic, the more clicks it gets, especially if it involves Trump’s marriage. I will elaborate on this further in the money and blueprint sections.
