Parents who took revenge
Why this
niche?
I discovered an interesting pattern on multiple crime channels where a certain topic shows a lot of potential. I found a channel that started recently, where their first video on this topic went viral immediately and has now reached more than 2.3M+ views. Aside from that, several channels have this topic at the top of their most popular videos, showing that there is a lot of potential and a large audience waiting for you if you dive into this sub niche.

Competition ANALYSIS
These channels are showing potential for this niche.
In this niche, I have seen a lot of channels using topics where mothers (parents) take revenge. I have discovered a certain pattern in the most popular videos of different crime channels, where these kinds of topics are often shown as the most popular with incredibly high views.
I have done a lot of research on whether I could find a channel that only uploads these types of videos, but so far I have not been able to find one. This means that if you step into this niche and only upload videos that are about parents (mothers) taking revenge, then you will be the first. There is a big audience that is interested in these types of videos, and the insane views I've seen at various channels confirm this.
I will put down some channels below where you can see the pattern.

Triggering intro, but...
This is an incredibly good intro, where they get right to the point. When I was watching this video I was immediately into the story and wanted to see more of the video. Why? Because the intro immediately gives the value I clicked for. This is a perfect example of how you can drag the viewer right into the story and increase the chances a lot that they will continue watching the video. But maybe you've already asked yourself: Are you allowed and able to use this footage? Is this video even monetized? I will further explain the answer in the 'don'ts.'

Nice video editing and background music
I like the video editing combined with the background music. It kind of makes me feel like I'm watching a video from the channel Unseen, but this channel has put their own spin on it. Nice animations and effects are used.
00:56
Use hooks
'but guess fate just had other plans for this family...'
Hooks in your script are very important to ensure that the viewer will watch your video longer. This hook is a good example, and I would definitely add these types of hooks to your script.

Triggering the audience
'Some saw her as a hero, a mother who did what she felt she had to do... Others saw her actions as a dangerous precedent undermining the legal system...'
This is definitely a good thing to mention in your script, because we have seen in the comments that this target audience only sees these kinds of mothers as heroes. If you want to trigger the audience, you can go on to the last part of this sentence. 'Others saw her actions as a dangerous precedent undermining the legal system.'. If you can find those opinions, I would definitely use them in the video to trigger the audience, which will make them express their feelings about this even more in the comments.
Don'ts

Don't use this footage
Like I mentioned int he Do's, the clip in the intro was very triggering but over the edge if you ask me. Showing guns in an entertainment way, is a no-go for monetization. If you show guns in an educational way (for example, someone making videos about restorations) then it is allowed. But there is a way to fix this with the current clip they used.
What I would suggest is to let the video play as it did but you onlyhave to make sure that at the moment she pulls her gun, you blur the gun so it's not noticeable that it's a gun. I would not take any further risks with the audio of the gun shots because it's safer to leave it out. Instead, you can show light flashes that create the feeling that someone is firing a gun.

Bad transition
'today we look at five cases of mothers who took violent revenge on their children's abuser. '(1.)' Marianne Bachmier.'
This is a typical top 10 video strategy. As you may know, I am not a fan of this. I would leave that entire sentence out of your script and replace it with a triggering hook or just start the story from the intro without announcing the case. If you'd leave this sentence out, viewers also don't know how many more cases are coming, and can't decide if they want to watch those as well. You actually don't want to give them that kind of time. Drag the viewers into the story and make sure they almost don't realize they are in the next case. That way you increase your AVD and really make several cases into 1 story.
00:35
Stock footage
I can't say it enough, but make sure you only use stock footage if you really can't do anything else. And if you use it, make sure you choose the right stock footage. In fact, we see a certain kind of stock footage here which makes the video fake, if you ask me. Try to avoid faces as much as possible and focus more on stock footage where you only see shadows, places/cities etc.

✅ Shocking effect and 3 focus points
This is exactly the kind of effect you want to create with your thumbnail. The guy on the left looks like he's getting tortured, and that shocking effect is what will make people click on your thumbnail because it raises questions like: huh? What? Is this for real? Besides that, the text is a bit on the long side, but they clearly understand to not use more than 3 focus points, what makes this thumbnail easy to understand.

❌ I would use a different photo
Because we know that this target audience consists mainly of women (mothers), I would rather use a woman on the thumbnail than a man. There is one video that did go viral with a man on the thumbnail on one of the competition channels, but you can clearly see that the videos with a mother on the thumbnail are working better.

How do I find topics?
As we know from this niche, it is important to focus on mothers (parents) who take revenge on people who have done something to their children. What I would always check for when choosing the right topic is whether there is enough footage to be found, so that your video editor has to use as little stock footage as possible. Also, search on youtube to see if the topic has not been used many times before, as it may be that people have watched the video before and that reduces the chances of a click, unless you see a video on Youtube and there are many points of improvement, then I would still choose that topic. To find the right topics I started my research at:
• Google: by simply searching on ' mothers who took revenge.' Then I ended up with this list where you get 22 topics about parents getting revenge:
https://www.ranker.com/list/parents-who-took-justice-into-their-own-hands/harrison-tenpas
https://listverse.com/2018/11/10/10-gruesome-ways-people-took-revenge-against-rapists/
Topic:
The list I shared above led me to this topic: 'Woman Sets Her Husband On Fire For Raping Her Daughter' https://listverse.com/2018/11/10/10-gruesome-ways-people-took-revenge-against-rapists/ then I searched on the name Tatanysha Hedman to do as much research on the case as possible. Then I found this article:
https://lifebuzz.com/woman-doused-husband-with-gasoline-and-set-him-on-fire-while-he-slept-for-raping-7-year-old-daughter/ As you can see there is a lot of information about the case, and there even appears to be a video of the man entering a store and screaming for help because his wife set him on fire for raping her daughter. I found the same video with one having a 911 call as audio and with the other video you see a news broadcast. As we know it is important to collect as much real footage as possible, so try to really focus on that.

How to create your thumbnail?
Because this story is about a mother who takes revenge and sets her husband on fire, I started looking for a picture where you can clearly see that a person is on fire. Normally I would look for a real image from the video, but since there is no video of him being on fire I continued my search on google and found this picture:
As I explained in the thumbnail analysis, placing the mother on the thumbnail is a must because this target audience consists mainly of mothers. I typed in the mother's name on google and came up with this picture:
YOUR VIDEO
End result
What did I do?
• Removed the background from the image of the mother
• Extended the picture of the man on fire with AI tool in photoshop
• Added a black bar on the mother's eyes to make the message of the thumbnail even more clear. It is important that the target audience sees immediately that the woman has taken revenge on the man, that she has done something to him, and that is the reason I made her look like a ''criminal.''
• Added an arrow and the text TOOK REVENGE! because that's what this target audience triggers the most.
AUDIENCE ANALYSIS
What does the audience like?
Parents (mothers) protecting their children
This target audience consists mainly of mothers who enjoy watching videos where other mothers take revenge on perpetrators who have done something to their children.
They want to see more of this
This is an interesting comment because it shows that this audience wants to see more of this. They love watching mothers who protect their children and can't get enough of it. They want to see more.
Super Heroes
They consider these mothers as super heroes, and don't agree if a mother gets sentenced for this. They have a lot of respect for mothers who will do these things for their children. The comments are full of this.
