Sleep games
Why this
niche?
In this niche, I have found 2 channels that use a unique format where people fall asleep to. One channel has only been up for 2 months and is achieving instant views, and because people watch these videos while they fall asleep, this will probably have a very positive effect on your AVD. The competition in this niche is very low, and the views are high, so this provides us the confirmation that there are still plenty of opportunities in this niche if you use this format.

Competition ANALYSIS
These channels are showing potential for this niche.
I can imagine that when you see the channel Caddy Sleeps, you may think it will be difficult to do this in a YouTube automation way. Because the videos they are creating are really personal, and you need someone who has a lot of knowledge about this niche if you want to create the same style of videos. Which will be really difficult to find.
But I also found this channel DYKG Clips https://www.youtube.com/@DYKG_Clips/videos and as you can see this channel is much less personal and has a more generic style. But the audience is clearly the same because on the channel DYKG Clips I see the same comments.
So it's about you being able to make a good mix of the personal style Caddy Sleeps has, and the generic style of DYKG Clips so you don't have to hire a game expert.

A good intro, but...
The intro is fine, but I would leave out the first 4 seconds of this video because you prefer to start the story right away so people get the value they clicked for as soon as possible. I get that it might be fun to watch, and I understand why they chose this because it's a 'sleep' video, but still, I would always choose to start directly with the story. As I often say, the first few seconds of your video are the most important, so that's why I will always get straight to the point for that reason. After those 4 seconds, this is a good intro and they immediately start with the first game.

Explain the game
As you can see, this is a kind of compilation video from which they ended up making into one video. Basically what they are doing here is explaining the games through funny storytelling. Here they show the audience how the game works, what happens, make some jokes in between and move on to the next game. What also works very well is naming the facts of the game, so that you'll talk a little bit more about the history of a game. As an example, this video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Py1BQUzRDqk&t.

A high-paced voice
This point is very important to mention because people like it a lot when the voice over talks fast. This is one of the reasons why people also fall asleep through these videos. As crazy as this may sound, but people in the comments are saying that it calms them down, and that it is just "enough chaos" to fall asleep with. So I would definitely search for a voice over that can tell the story well and with enthusiasm, because apparently that is very important in this niche.

Personal opinion
''these are the worst secret agents I think I've ever seen''
This is something I personally would apply in this niche as well. Explain to your scriptwriter that he may pretend to play the game himself, and let him feel free to share his personal opinion. So by doing this, the video becomes a bit more personal, just like this channel is doing. A nice, funny good storyteller who talks with full enthusiasm about these games.

Funny edits
Using humor in your videos is a must in this niche. People watch these videos for entertainment, which can eventually put them to sleep. Make sure your video editor uses some fun edits to make the video funnier, just like they do here.
Don'ts
I haven't been able to find anything I don't like about this video. People in the comments are positive, love the enthusiasm of this channel and love falling asleep to videos like this.

✅ Sleepy cartoon
Obviously, when you play a game, certain cartoons may be part of it. As an example: Mario, Sonic, Pokemon, Shrek etc. Not only this channel uses sleepy cartoons, but the DYKG Clips channel does this as well. For that reason, I would recommend keeping the same thumbnail style, because we see that it works and because this way the target audience can recognize the thumbnails and format which increases the chances of a click. They're using the same style of thumbnails, so it doesn't make sense to add more thumbnails to these analyses. I will explain more about creating these cartoon thumbnails in 'lets create your video'

Revenue analysis
There are two scenarios for the RPM in this niche. Let's start with the bad one:
Negative scenario:
Because people are falling a sleep with these videos, they're not clicking on any ads. Besides that, I don't think people are annoyed by ads as much as in they're in the meditation niche, but it could be possible. This all can result in a low RPM.
Positive scenario:
These videos are really long and people are falling a sleep with these videos which will results in a great AVD. The target group is an older group of gamers who lean more towards the tech niche where the RPM is always very high. These 2 things can result in a really high RPM.
I think the RPM will be somewhere in the middle between these two scenarios.
The VidIQ extentsion wasn't working, so I couldn't see the monthly views. I made the calculation based on their total views.

Important
The competition channel Caddy Sleeps is creating their videos in a really personal way. They know a lot about games, and it can be hard to find a scriptwriter who knows as much about games as they do. The competition channel DYKG Clips is creating their videos more in an informative way, and that is way easier to accomplish when hiring people because even someone with less knowledge can create these videos just by doing good research. I would recommend taking both of their channels and try to make your video as personal as you can, with informative information.
How to find topics?
YouTube: I would check what the best performing videos are from the competition and use that as inspiration for your topic. You can also use information from videos where they just talk about 1 game and make a compilation of it. For example: The best games to fall asleep to.
Google/TIkTok/AI: I would look for articles/videos or information about nostalgic, best, bad, stupid, cancelled or whatever video games, and check what I could find there. If you find something interesting about a really popular video game, you can decide to create just 1 video about it. When you find multiple video games that are interesting, you can decide to make compilation of it. For example: The worst video games of all time to fall asleep to.
Topic:
I checked the competition channel DYKG Clips and their most popular video is about 2 Hours of Cancelled Video Games to Fall Asleep to. I really liked this topic because I can imagine it can be triggering for this audience. Then I Googled for "cancelled games" and found this 2 articles:
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Category:Cancelled_video_games
https://www.digitaltrends.com/gaming/the-most-famous-canceled-video-games/ (A very long list of all video games that have been cancelled.)
I would send these 2 articles to my scriptwriter and let him or her to the job from there.

How to create your thumbnail?
The competition channel is just using a cartoon character that is sleeping on their thumbnails. As far as my knowledge goes, this is not possible to create with AI because all of these characters contain copyrights, and the well known AI tools do now allow that. There are probably some none verified ways to do this with AI, but I don't know them yet.
What I would do is look on Fiverr or Upwork for a cartoon artist who can create these thumbnails for you. There are plenty of them for a reasonal price.
Another way is to just look on the internet for sleeping well known cartoons, so that's what I did for this example thumbnail. If you're going to do the same, please look out for copyrights because you're stealing work from somebody without having permission. This thumbnail is just for demonstration purposes.
I typed into Google, 'Shrek sleeping' and I found this picture. You can take whatever popular cartoon character you think works best based on your research. I really like this picture because it looks funny with his nipples pointing out, which will trigger the audience. I would recommend to look for something funny or weird looking on the cartoons you're going to create. The weirder it looks, the better it will perform.

What did I do?
- The only thing I did was expanding the image with Photoshop AI because the picture didn't have the 1920x1080 size. Besides that, I didn't do much and would probably be the same for you if you're going to let someone else create these images.
