Christian AI Debates
Why this
niche?
In this niche, I found a channel that started uploading just four months ago, and they use a unique format that can work for many other niches as well. The best part about this approach is that you can create everything with AI. So if you're interested in Christian debates and AI, this niche could become your success story.

A short explanation
It's a must in this niche to add a short explanation at the beginning of your video. But, make sure that you don't make this too long because you'd rather give people as soon as possible where they clicked for.
00:12
Smart to point out
'We've included 14 different AI models to judge each response.'
It’s a smart move to highlight this in your script. Whether it’s real or not, it gives the audience the impression that the person behind the screen has done thorough research and invested a lot of time, possibly even consulting 14 different AIs on the topic. By mentioning these details, you add extra value to the video, making it look like a lot of effort has gone into creating it. This helps build credibility and keeps viewers more engaged.
00:20
Good hook
As we’ve seen in the comments, this hook keeps viewers from skipping parts of the video. It really shows how important it is to use hooks like this. Since the debate doesn’t have a ton of emotion, throwing in a few engaging hooks now and then helps keep things interesting and keeps the audience engaged. I do think they could use many more, but that's something I'll discuss at don'ts.
00:27
Funny sound effects
To make the video more fun to watch, these little details can really help. Since the AI debates aren’t that triggering because they don’t show much emotion, it’s nice to add things like this to make it more interesting/fun for the viewer.

Counting points
To make your video more enjoyable for viewers, adding this element is a great idea. The audience might be curious about the outcome and want to see which AI ultimately scores the most points. This adds an extra layer of interest and keeps them engaged throughout.
1:58
Male vs. female AI
It's a small detail, but I really like that they chose to have a debate between a male and a female AI voice. This creates a clear contrast and helps viewers easily understand which AI represents what perspective.
Don'ts

Not enough triggering hooks
Since the AI doesn’t really speak with emotion, it can get pretty boring and drag on without good hooks to keep things interesting. This moment is a perfect example of where they could’ve added a hook to make it more engaging. Honestly, it feels like they miss these chances a lot, so there’s definitely room to step it up a bit. Adding in more of these little hooks could make the whole thing more fun to watch. I'll show you some examples that I'd use for this niche:
- But just wait until you hear how AI Y responds to this point, it’s about to shake up the entire debate...
- If you thought AI X had strong arguments so far, then what he’s about to say will completely blow you away...
- Thought AI Y couldn’t handle this? Just wait until you hear his next move...
- Just when you thought AI X was out of arguments, wait until you see the move he pulls next...
- But AI Y isn’t done yet, he’s about to bring up a point that will leave you rethinking everything...

Bad transition to round 2
This is a perfect moment for the viewer to click away because it almost sounds like the video comes to an end. The final score has been shared, they’re asking viewers to like and subscribe, and there’s no real reason to keep watching. Especially after this point at 10:56, they add an “intermission.” I get that they want to pause the video briefly, but this timing isn’t ideal after sharing the score from the first round. As I mentioned above, it would be better to add more engaging hooks here to actually give viewers a reason to keep watching. For example, you can say things like this:
• But debate 1 was only the beginning, because what happens in the next debate is going to blow your mind...
• Debate 1 set the stage, but what’s coming up next is where things get truly exciting...
• If Debate 1 got you thinking, then Debate 2 is going to have you questioning everything...

✅ Clear to read, but...
I like this thumbnail because it's clear to read and it actually creates two different sides and looks like a debate. But if I don't read the title I don't know that is about an AI debate, and that's exactly what triggers this audience so much. So to me, it's a missed change to not include the AI feeling in your thumbnail in this niche. I don't want to say that if you don't it won't work, because we can obviously see that our competition channel achieves some great succes, but I think you can make it even more clear and triggering if you add AI to it.

✅ Included AI
I really like the fact that they added an AI to the thumbnail, because this is exactly what I meant with thumbnail 1. So as a viewer now you know that AI is included, but it’s not super clear that it’s a debate if you ask me. And yes, they did add ‘AI Debates’ on the right, but the word debates’ is so small that most viewers probably won’t notice it in a split second. For that reason, I’d suggest adding a second AI to make it look more like an actual debate. That way, it’s obvious right away that it’s about an AI debate. Overall, the thumbnail’s fine, and it got a lot of views, but with some changes, you might be able to pull in an even bigger audience.

Revenue analysis
If your videos are around 25-30 minutes, the RPM will probably be around $10. However, since the content is about AI, it could be a lot higher.

Important:
In this niche, you can come up with endless topics because there’s so much you can do with AI. Normally, I’m not a big fan of relying heavily on AI in videos, but here, it’s pretty much essential. The good news is you don’t need to be an AI expert to dive in. I’ll show you how to generate topics like this in just a few simple steps.
Before we get into that, I want to share some important insights about this niche. What we’re seeing here is actually very valuable because you can use this format to other niches as well. For example, you can ask ChatGPT about the biggest debates in the world and then apply this unique format to those discussions. Of course, this is a new approach without any existing data to support it, but I believe that if you choose to apply this format to other niches as well, it can also achieve great success. I just asked to Chat about the world's biggest debates and already got I lot of inspiration for other niches as well.
1. Climate Change
Climate Action: Discussions on the effectiveness and necessity of government interventions to reduce greenhouse gas emissions.
2. Migration and Refugees
Discussions on how countries should handle migrants and refugees and the societal impact.
3. Social Equality
Gender Equality and LGBTQ+ Rights: Discussions on the rights of LGBTQ+ individuals and gender equality, including the role of education in promoting acceptance.
Do you see what I mean? You can apply this format with any other niche you like, and let AI having a debate about these topics.
How to find topics?
So, if we go back to our competition channel and take a look at our competition channel, we can see that topics about faith are catching on very well:
- Does God exist? Atheist Vs Believer
- Jesus is God? 33 Bible verses in 5 minutes
- Jesus is God? Ai Debates Christian Vs Muslim
- What If Jesus, Muhammed & Buddha were Judged by AI?
These are the four most popular topics on our competition channel, and they all have something in common: they relate to faith. Specifically, they often involve opposing views, such as Muslim vs. Christian or atheist vs. believer. Because we have the confirmation that this works, I'd definitely continue with making topics about faith. Of course, you could always explore other niches with this format if you want to, but it's up to you if you want to take that risk. With our current channel, we have solid data showing that topics about faith work well. Therefore, if you want to minimize risk, I would suggest focusing on faith-related topics for now.
Chat GTP: With ChatGPT, you can find a lot of topic inspiration. I simply explained which topics our competition channel covered, and if Chat could give me similar topics and came up with a whole list. Besides, you can actually use ChatGPT to write a debate about your own topic. For example: I would like you to create a debate between two AIs. One AI should argue against the existence of life after death, while the other should argue in favor of it. It is important that the debate remains devoid of any human emotions, with each AI focusing strictly on presenting their differing viewpoints.
Topic:
To come up with my own topic in this niche, I asked ChatGPT about history's most controversial questions and came across the topic of life after death. I think this fits perfectly because it’s similar to the question of whether God exists. It’s a deep, universal question that everyone wonders about and has different opinions on. That’s why I decided to go with it. So now I have a topic in mind, I need to create the script. I simply asked chat the following:
I would like you to create a debate between two AIs. One AI should argue against the existence of life after death, while the other should argue in favor of it. It is important that the debate remains devoid of any human emotions, with each AI focusing strictly on presenting their differing viewpoints.

How to create your thumbnail?
First, I visited openart.ai to create an image of two AI's engaged in a debate. I wanted their facial expressions to appear angry, with clear hand gestures to emphasize their emotions. Here’s the result:
Change background in Photoshop
To make the AI stand out even more, I choose to go for another background with Generative Fill. I selected the two AI's to create a new layer, so I could change the background to something else. This is what came out:
Details
Then, I wanted to create a stronger contrast between the two AI's to clearly show that they have different opinions. To achieve this, I added red details to the neck, brain, and hand on the right side, while adding blue details on the left side.
Logos & red background
Although I had already added some contrast, I wanted even more. I put an Atheist logo on one AI's ear and a red cross on the other AI's ear. This helps make the differences between them clear for the viewer. It also fits well with the text I will add later. I also changed the right side of the background to red to create two different sides.
In the end, I chose the text “ATHEIST - BELIEVER” because it’s already clear that they are in a debate. This created a thumbnail that clearly shows it’s about AI, highlights the debate, and shows the differences between the two. The great thing is that you can use this thumbnail design for many other topics, as they will all involve different opinions about AI. If you followed all the steps, your thumbnail will look something like this:
AUDIENCE ANALYSIS
What does the audience like?
AI debates without interruptions or insults
This audience likes debates that are respectful, clear, and don’t have interruptions or insults. What makes these AI debates special is that, while the debate stays calm and focused, viewers who want to see emotions can find them in the comments section. This way, viewers get two things: a serious, well-supported debate from the AI, and a place in the comments where the audience can share their opinions.
Come up with new topics
The comments are full of new topic ideas from the audience. They enjoy suggesting new topics, and you can see how popular each idea is based on the number of likes it gets. This is really helpful if you’re looking to start in this niche and want to know what topics will work best and what your audience is interested in.
Triggering hooks
'But don't cheat yourself by skipping ahead, round one kicks off with a bang.' - That's exactly what triggered this audience, so they didn't skip a whole part of the video. It shows how important it is to use effective hooks. They enjoy a good script with good storytelling and a personal touch. It’s all about connecting with them and making the content interesting enough to hold their attention. I'll go into more detail about that at our video analysis.
