Why this
niche?
If you're a complete beginner, I would not recommend starting in this niche because the video quality is on the high side. The competition channel I found for this niche is making video's in a different way. And because of that, he got millions of views on his first 5 videos. Amazing niche with a lot of potential

Great start but...
'We're very, you know, stuck.. And there's no fuel.. '
This is great! This immediately triggered me to continue watching the video because you hear an ATC (Air Traffic Control) conversation from the pilot who clearly says that things are not going well. Very good start, but... This could have been a little longer. Give the viewer a little more value, drop two or three more sentences like this and immediately show the 3D plane in the sky. This is something they do very well in another video on their channel. (see video 2 for the analysis)

Amazing 3D Airplane footage
When I first saw this video, I was very impressed with the video quality of this video. At first I thought this was some video game played on a script, but these videos were made using MicroSoft Flight Simulator. I will go into further details about this at lets create your video. This kind of 3D aircraft footage is so valuable because, as a viewer, you get a much better idea of the story. All the details are visible and how well this is recreated, is insane. It's like watching a high quality documentary.
00:19
Background music
They use a lot of mixed background music. Just listen carefully to this transition, do you hear what happens to the music? By doing this in the video, the viewer experiences a different emotion each time. If the music is more intense then as a viewer you know something is going to happen, so it is very good to change background music a little more often.

Details
'Outside the cockpit, it's raining heavily with clouds all around them... The pilots are flying blind. And it's next to impossible to spot the runway... With every passing minute they are using up more fuel and they have to land, NOW.'
I love this part! Why? Because you almost get chills all over your body here because you can empathize with the story SO well. Details in the script are incredibly important, and because these footage is self-made, the editor can create these visuals well; just as they do here.

Hooks
'Will they be able to avoid another tragedy on September 11th, in New York? Let's find out...'
Great hook. Even though this is put in a questioning sense, I still think this is a very good hook. It makes the viewer curious and keeps the tension high. Through this hook, the mind will say: I have to see how this ends. As a result, they will continue watching and that is exactly what we want.
Don'ts
00:06
Bad voice over
This voice over is not terrible, but you can't understand him very well because of his accent. Choose an American voice over who can tell the story well.

Straight to the point
An intro where they get right to the point and give the viewer directly what they are looking for. They give a lot of details and explain a lot in this intro. And that makes it almost impossible for the viewer not to continue. Very good intro!
00:27
Sounds of the plane
These are incredibly realistic sounds that make the story even better. This is really good storytelling with lots of details that make the viewer get more and more into the story.

Interacting with your audience
'Now put yourself in their shoes. What would you do if you lost both your engines and all you see around you is darkness, and you're over 120 kilometers away from the nearest airport?'
This is a great way to get more interaction with the target audience, and to make them feel the fear of this story even more.

Again, great hook
'But unbeknownst to the pilots, something disastrous was already unfolding within their airplane'
Another great hook here. These kinds of hooks are so important in this niche to get the viewer to finish the whole video. There are an immense number of comments where the audience say that they have watched the whole video and enjoyed it so much. And that's definitely because of hooks like this.

This is a bit too much
As I mentioned in video 1, this channel often changes background music in their videos. And don't get me wrong, because this is very good but I don't like what they are doing here. I understand they want to show a contrast between the thrilling intro and the story, but this background music just seems like an advertisement.

✅ Great triggering text but...
The text ' NO FUEL' is a triggering text where, as a viewer, you immediately know that this will be a terrifying video because you know it's wrong when a plane runs out of fuel. The only thing I would leave out is the text underneath: 'OVER NYC' because it's so small that people won't read it and because it adds no value. The point is, that this plane is out of fuel and that should be the only focus. Place an arrow pointing from the text to the plane so that it becomes even more clear. Then you immediately have 3 focus points: Text, arrow, plane.

❌ Wrong text
To show right away a good example of what happens to the thumbnail when you don't use trigger words as text, then this is the result. I'm not necessarily saying this is bad, because people can also search for a specific plane crash, but it's better to reflect that (in this case: ''Kerala Tragedy' ) in the title than in the thumbnail. Why? Because you want to trigger people to click on the video in the best way possible, and you increase that chance if you use some shocking short trigger words about what happend. Exactly like title 1. You describe in 2/3 words what is going on, without giving too much away about the outcome. And you use that on the thumbnail.
Some examples:
NO POWER!
SHOCKING TRUTH!
FUEL LEEK!
NO FUEL!
HORRIBLE DISASTER!

✅ 3 Focus points but...
I see 3 focus points here but unfortunately again with a text that is not triggering enough. If you use the strategy I explained in thumbnail 1 and 2, and change the text then this thumbnail would be great! 3 Focus points: Text, arrow, plane. With that being said, I think the background image could also be more triggering because now it's just an airplane on the ground with a big airplane behind it.

YOUR VIDEO
Topic example
Important
In most cases, your video will be created by a scriptwriter, voice-over, and video editor. For these videos it's required to add someone who can replay the accidents using a game called Microsoft Flight Simulator. This person must be capable of recreating every detail, like the plane, flying route, and delivering high-quality HD footage. You can find these people on Fiverr or Upwork and there are a lot of them. People are watching this channel because of these replays, so it's important to include this, otherwise you can't compare yourself to the competition.
How do I find topics?
I would start by looking at all of the airplane crashes that have happened, and then check YouTube to see if any other channels have done it. The more thrilling the story, the better, and the more details you can find, the better. You can find here all the crashes that have ever happened: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_accidents_and_incidents_involving_commercial_aircraft
Here is also a list of the most deadliest aircrashes ever happened: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_deadliest_aircraft_accidents_and_incidents
Topic
You can choose between plenty of crashes and I chose to go for the story about a hijacked plane. Just one channel has done a documentary style of video about this crash and I think you can improve it a lot. Also found footage of the real crash that you can use for your video. The crash happened in 1990 so I don't think the risk is high in terms of copyright but use it on your own risk.
